    .58 Caliber USA Gardiner Explosive Bullet 

This extremely nice example exhibits the typical dark
 grey patina and was dug in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  "Gardiner" is still visible along the rim of the base.
 It would be difficult to upgrade this one...

.69 caliber Prussian Bullet-

 Dug at Berkeley Plantation, where McClellan's Army
 of the Potomac camped after the Seven Days Battles,
 this Prussian bullet is in very nice condition.  There is a small nick on the nose, but this barely detracts from the piece. M&M #288$24.00     
.58 Caliber Williams Cleaner Type I Bullet-

A5051-This bullet, dug at Cold Harbor, Va, is missing
 some of the zinc skirt, but otherwise displays well.

.58 Caliber Swaged Base Bullet
A5062- This type of .58 caliber rifled musket bullet is generally found in later war sites.  This particular example displays nicely and was dug in Cold Harbor, Va.  There is a small nick on the side of the bullet towards the nose, but this hardly detracts from the piece. M&M #347- $5.00    

    
.689 Caliber French Triangle Base Bullet-
A5052- This type of .689 caliber, one ring rifled musket bullet was employed by both sides. This particular example displays very well and was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. There is a bend and some slight wear, but this hardly detracts from the bullet. M&M #264- $22.00
.54 Caliber Richmond Sharps Carbine Bullet-
A5058- This .54 Caliber Richmond Lab Sharps carbine bullet has a pleasing light grey patina and was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. This bullet is in pristine condition, and the casting line is very bold and visible. M&M #464- $6.00 
.46 Caliber Sharps Slanting Breech Bullet-
A5042- This rare bullet was dug in the vicinity of Cold Harbor, Va. There is some slight damage along the exterior and the nose of the bullet, but it is otherwise in very good condition. This projectile was dug in the vicinity of Cold Harbor, Va. M&M #194- $40.00
.54 Caliber Confederate Gardner Bullet-

A5044- This nice .54 caliber Gardner bullet was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. This bullet is in very nice, dropped condition, and has a pleasing patina. M&M #169, $7.00.
Handmade Musket Nipple Protector-

A5072- This nipple protector was handmade by a soldier to protect his weapons' priming mechanism. It was dug in the vicinity of Cold Harbor, Va. M&M #2, page 73- $10.00.
.577 Caliber High Base Bullet-
A022- This type of Confederate .577 caliber rifled musket bullet is generally found in later war sites and is known as a "Harper's Ferry" or pistol carbine bullet.. This particular example displays nicely and was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. A perfect dropped example; M&M #366- $15.00
.575 Caliber Williams Cleaner Type III Bullet-

A5050- This Union .575 caliber Williams Cleaner Type III bullet is in very nice dropped condition and was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. M&M #540- $3.00.
.44 Caliber Colt Dragoon Bullet-

A5036- This .44 Caliber bullet for a Colt Dragoon or Revolving Rifle has a pleasing white patina and was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. This bullet has only a few faint scratches, and displays well. M&M #489- 4.00.

A5037- This .44 Caliber bullet for a Colt Army Revolver was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. This bullet is in near mint condition and would make an excellent addition to any collection. M&M #480- $3.00. 
.54 Caliber Burnside Carbine Cartridge-

A023- This intact .54 Caliber Burnside Carbine cartridge was dug in Cold Harbor, Va. These are getting harder and harder to find, especially in such nice condition. M&M #171, page 79- $55.00.
               .54 Cal. Spencer Carbine Cartridge-

A5018- This intact Spencer Carbine cartridge was dug in Cold Harbor, Va.  The Spencer Carbine was one of the weapons that gave Union Cavalry such an advantage over their Southern counterparts.  M&M #167, page 79- SOLD
.36 cal. Teardrop for Revolver-
A5041- This .36 cal. "teardrop" bullet, listed in Mason and McKee as "unknown for revolver" was used by both sides during the war.  These bullets were actually products of the St. Louis, Mo. arsenal. This flawless example, with a nice mold seam, was dug at Cold Harbor, Va.  M&M #99- $10

Buck and Ball Set-

A5068- The three buckshot have been glued back onto the .69 round ball that they were excavated with, making a nice display piece.  This buck and ball set was dug at Cold Harbor, Va.  M&M #551- $10

A5046- This very nice dropped .577 cal. Georgia teat base bullet was dug in Cold Harbor, Virginia, and would make a nice addition to any collection.

Carved Bullet- Chess Piece-

A5071- This bullet was carved into a chess piece by a creative young soldier.  It was likely carved before or after one of the brutal battles fought at Cold Harbor, Virginia.
